well at that age they aren’t supposed to eat alot of protein(insects) the majority of their diet is supposed to be greens(Adult Beardies need approx. 50 – 75% vegetarian to 25 – 50% live prey/protein). too much protein can cause kidney damage.

    mealworms. And when they are older, but only as a rare treat small mice. If it is a young dragon they need more protien than an adult dragon.( but don’t give a young beardie small mice, only adults can eat small mice.) An adult beardie needs mostly greens. I gave dandelion greens to my young beardie and he loved them.

    off our website .. here some food u can offer to ur beardie Crickets, meal worms(in small quantities only for adults ), king meal worms (super worms also as a treat for adults only), Wax worms, horned worms, silk worms even washed earth worms the odd time and (Bearded dragons should be fed a variety of greens, vegetables, and fruits daily. Greens include: kale, cilantro, mustard greens, collard greens, dandelion greens, endive, escarole, Swiss chard, carrot greens, romane (no iceberg) and a little broccoli . Veggies include:sherdded: potato, sweet potato, carrots, butternut squash, and yellow squash. Fruits include: strawberries, blueberries, oranges (just a little), mango, papaya, kiwi, pears and etc…. Bearded dragons love raspberries, but they should be only given as treats….
    Vitamin/mineral supplement: 1 part multi vitamin to 2-5 parts calcium powder(Rep-Cal phosphorous free).
    Water:Daily fresh clean water should be offered in a shallow dish .

    As well as the live food and vegies theres also preparred bearded dragon food that you can get that has all the nutrients for him/her. Iv been using it and my dragon loves it as well as ill give him crickets or other foods once in a while as treats. Hope this helps for you.
