Question by manowar_6: How long does it take for a new young water dragon to get use to your tank?
I got a new water dragon and it is young and i was wondering how long does it take for it to get use to my tank?
Best answer:
Answer by Expert Advice
Anywhere from 3 days to a week. It really depends on the environment around the room, if it is kept at a constant or not. Good luck and congrats on your new water dragon!

Question by shorty_mary: How long does it take for a baby bearded dragon to settle into a new enviornment?
I just got a baby bearded dragon from the pet store today and it is slightly opening it’s mouth while basking and not really interested in eating or drinking. But I also don’t know when he last ate or drank anything. It is my first beardie and I have a lot of questions.
Best answer:
Answer by Bevad
I don’t know much about bearded dragons, but from experience with other reptiles, you need to leave them to settle in. This can vary and some may be really quick and love the new environment, while others take a while. If the food is available in the tank then he will eat when he is good and ready. He may just be a little nervous at the new surroundings and if he was in a smaller tank in the pet shop and with other beardies then he is probably wondering where everyone is and why he can’t see any others and is wondering what the big open space is.
I would start to worry if his colour changes or he drops in weight. Even if you don’t know the last time he ate, he will eat when he is hungry and accustomed to his new tank. It can be hard with a new animal to not check on them and see how they’re doing, but try not to keep going up to the glass if you do a lot and leave him to do his own thing, even if that’s nothing

Question by Matt OF O’Reilly: How long does it take for a chinese water dragon tail to grow back?
I bought a water dragon and he seems pretty healthy, but his tail was missing when I got him. How long does it usually take to grow back?
Best answer:
Answer by Bonsylar
Months, if not years.
Depends on the environment and diet. Do lots of research on the little guys and follow all the requirements.
In the future, pass on reptiles missing tails, toes, scales, or anything else. It means they were roughly treated and stressed out. Not healthy.

Question by Megan: How long does it take for a bearded dragon to reach its adult size?
I am planning on keeping a pet bearded dragon, and I’m considering buying a smaller 20-30 gallon home for the juvenile, and will upgrade to a larger tank when the animal is older.
If I bought a juvenile, how long should I keep it in smaller tank before I decide to upgrade?
Best answer:
Answer by lena
I started out the same way too. In a couple months I absolutely had to put my beardie in to a larger tank. Change tanks as soon as possible because it cant really hurt to have a large tank, it makes more room to move around and it can hurt for them to not be able to move around.

Question by Letterbomb: How to take care of a bearded dragon?
I’m planning to get a bearded dragon soon!
what kind of food, housing, care do bearded dragons require?
Any info at all would be appreciated.
I’ve read many care-sheets, but is there anything else I may need to know?
Also: Do male and female dragons act differently? Is one more calm than the other?
Best answer:
Answer by Ben
Glass cage with a screen lid with one hot (75-85) and one cool end (70). Newspaper is the easiest substrate, it comes everyday and is in sections, so you can talk one mess out at a time! Fake plants are okay and on the cool end you should have a 10.0 UVB bulb for proper nutrients and a 75-100 watt basking spot lamp with a ceramic fixture so it does not over heat. Crickets should be the main diet, meal/wax worms as a treat, NOT as a regular meal as it is unhealthy. Lettuce is okay but the best is like dinosaur (Tuscan) kale as it is packed with nutrients. Heat rocks give belly burns, make a hide cave/box. Female are calmer, if you want to breed read up on breeding articles. Hope this helps!

Question by pduhe78: How many prestige classes can a player take in Dungeons and Dragons?
How many prestige classes can a player take in Dungeons and Dragons? Is there a number how many a player can have, if so, please list the page where the rule can be found.
Best answer:
Answer by Braymun
A player may take as many Prestige Classes as he/she is eligible for… There are no rules restricting a character from multiple Prestige Classes, there-fore, the normal rules of Multi-classing take precedence. (PHB – pg. 59)
Remember that Prestige Classes don’t incur the normal Exp Penalty that regular Multi-classing gives. (DMG – pg. 76)

Question by Alex M: How much does a bearded dragon cost to take care of yearly?
I have about 225$ and want a bearded dragon and was wondereing how much the initial startup is and how much it is after that. I was also wondering why my parents won’t let me get one if I pay for it, and all it’s needs and care for it daily.
Best answer:
Answer by Jesse e
bierdies can get quite expensive. lets see if u get one for 50 dollars, and then
get a tank that is twenty gallons thats prolly another forty and then u have to get some things for the tank to have inside for him
sand – 15
hides -5 – 30
heat lamp adn bulb – 20
and then after that u need to keep him on crickets and or greens. they cost very littel per time but can get quite expensve over time.
so initial setup would likely cost you anywhere from like 5 to teh full amount u have lol.
likely ur parents want u to realize what u are getting into and is why whey are tellin u u must pay for it all. they do make great pets tho, and can bring a lot of happieness and if i had 225 saved up id definately get one of my own. i only have a uromastyx and some others but the bierdies are next on my list.

Question by Zarango: How long does it take for a bearded dragon to shed?
My bearded dragon is shedding for the first time since I’ve had her and she’s been at it for like a week now. How long does it typically take for a bearded dragon to shed completely (she’s 4 years old if that makes a difference). Also, she has one toe that is refusing to shed. I’ve been soaking her but it doesn’t seem to want to start shedding (all that happens is that she poops in the water). Is there a way to induce shedding or will it eventually go on its own?
Best answer:
Answer by KimbeeJ
A complete shed can take a week. Keep soaking her daily in warm water, and you can use a Q-tip to gently roll loose shed off her toes while wet.
