Question by Joel: At what age and size should i start feeding my bearded dragon pinkies?

I have a baby bearded dragon called Dave and he is currently around 10cm long. What size should he be before i start giving him pinkies.?

Also he keeps staying in one corner of the tank for an hour or so looking at the background of his tank (which is a desert theme) and slowly moves his head side to side…. Is he ok?
I do pick him up fairly regularly and he has plenty of food and warmth.

16 inches (41 cm). And then you should never feed pinkies more than one per 2 weeks, as they have so much fat to them. They also have enough protein that you should cut back on the protein (feeder insects) in the week following the feeding.

Question by Benjamin Walsh: What is the minimum size tank for two adult bearded dragons?

I want to breed bearded dragons and I have heard so many different sizes. I have been constantly researching it and haven’t found a sure answer. If you could tell me in gallons that would be great because I, mainly, keep fish and I find gallons easier than dimensions.

Wow! I love Austrailn water dragons they are very beautiful! To your question at hand, the cage size for one pair of adult water dragons should be between 4 feet long by 2 feet high by 2 feet wide (4′x2′x2′) and even up to 3 feet high would do them just fine.

Q&A: How long does it take for a bearded dragon to reach its adult size?

Question by Megan: How long does it take for a bearded dragon to reach its adult size?

I am planning on keeping a pet bearded dragon, and I’m considering buying a smaller 20-30 gallon home for the juvenile, and will upgrade to a larger tank when the animal is older.

If I bought a juvenile, how long should I keep it in smaller tank before I decide to upgrade?

I started out the same way too. In a couple months I absolutely had to put my beardie in to a larger tank. Change tanks as soon as possible because it cant really hurt to have a large tank, it makes more room to move around and it can hurt for them to not be able to move around.

What is an appropriate size of terrarium for an australian water dragon?

Question by ferrets4fun: What is an appropriate size of terrarium for an australian water dragon?

I am interested in adopting a water dragon, but all the information I find on the internet seems to be more related to other reptiles (bearded dragons especially). I’ve owned a beardie before – are their space requirements similar? I know water dragons are larger. Any other information relating to diet, housing, lighting, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
