I’m really interested in tabletop roleplaying games, and I’d love to try Dungeons and Dragons. But there are so many rule books and “flavor” books and different editions of each that it’s hard to know what to get (not to mention they’re quite expensive). So what should a completely new player buy to get started? What’s necessary to play the game?

Best answer:

Answer by izme1000
Every D&D player needs a set of dice, a miniature to represent your character on the map, and access to a player’s handbook (also known as PHB). Everything else is optional. In fact, having your own dice is also optional if someone doesn’t mind sharing theirs.

Question by Joel: At what age and size should i start feeding my bearded dragon pinkies?

I have a baby bearded dragon called Dave and he is currently around 10cm long. What size should he be before i start giving him pinkies.?

Also he keeps staying in one corner of the tank for an hour or so looking at the background of his tank (which is a desert theme) and slowly moves his head side to side…. Is he ok?
I do pick him up fairly regularly and he has plenty of food and warmth.

Best answer:

Answer by Akeath
16 inches (41 cm). And then you should never feed pinkies more than one per 2 weeks, as they have so much fat to them. They also have enough protein that you should cut back on the protein (feeder insects) in the week following the feeding.

Question by angie: How often should I feed my 11 month year old bearded dragon crickets? And how many is a good amount?

Also how often should i feed him veggies? Is he supposed to have access to food all the time, i put some bearded dragon pebble food in a dish at all times. Ive only had him for 2 months so any information is highly appreciated.

Best answer:

Answer by TPau15
At 11 months your dragon should be eating large crickets. Look at the space between the reptiles eyes; that’s how large a prey item they should be eating. Any bigger, when eaten, can cause bowel obstruction, chokeing, or paralysis. Cricket feedings for a subadult, like yours, should only be once a day. I usually feed about 1 cricket per inch of body length, not including tail. Of course, this is just a general guide, a few more than that doesn’t hurt, just don’t over do it.

See this site for a great veggie list: http://www.greenigsociety.org/foodchart.htm This food chart tells you everything about proper veggies to feed. Even though it’s a site gear towards iguanas, the veggie info is still good for any reptile that can eat them. Use staple greens in every feeding (collard greens, endive, watercress, escarole, etc.) otherwise, variety is key, so mix it up often.

I usually feed one or the other; bugs or veggies, not both at the same time. I don’t want them to fill up on one and not eat the other. Your dragon should have a diet that is 50/50 veggie and bug, as it should be about half size. When it’s full grown at about 2 years old, the diet should shift to 80% veggie and 20% bug.

I am getting an adult bearded dragon in about 5 months and I have started creating a feeding schedule for him. I know all the basics from research and not to feed them certain foods and the size of the food I should feed them but I need a general idea of how many times to feed them insects and vegetables a week. It would also help if you gave me an idea of what vegetables are needed in his diet.
Any answer is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Answer by ohio_reptile
Wow! I love Austrailn water dragons they are very beautiful! To your question at hand, the cage size for one pair of adult water dragons should be between 4 feet long by 2 feet high by 2 feet wide (4′x2′x2′) and even up to 3 feet high would do them just fine.

Best answer:

Answer by darkcirca
The smallest tank for a hatchling/juvenile (under 8″) is a 20 gallon long, but personally I’d go with a 40 gallon breeder. Anything smaller and the temperatures cannot be regulated.

I’d suggest researching your animal, as the more research you do the more you learn.

Answer by Grey Fox
well at that age they aren’t supposed to eat alot of protein(insects) the majority of their diet is supposed to be greens(Adult Beardies need approx. 50 – 75% vegetarian to 25 – 50% live prey/protein). too much protein can cause kidney damage.
