I’ve heard of forgotten realms and dragonlance but don’t know which one is more suitable(or any other large series) for a fan of dragons and magic and such. I want to start reading a large fantasy series but can’t decide on one.

Question by Dwight Schrute: How long are bearded dragons usually pregnant for?
My bearded dragon has been pregnant for 26 days now and she has laid 5 eggs. 2 on the 22 day, 2 on the 23 day and 1 on the 24 day.
How many days are bearded dragons pregnant or on average? as well is this normal behaviour for laying? Please help.
Best answer:
Answer by The Greenster
The gestation period is 5 weeks; after the eggs are layed, they hatch after 65-75 days. The female can lay more than one clutch of eggs, because she has the ability to retain sperm from the male. This means that they only have to mate once for her to produce about 3 clutches of eggs, all 3-5 weeks apart. This doesn’t always happen though.
Eggs need to be incubated for those 65-75 days in 82-85 degree F heat. About 24 hours before they hatch, the eggs will appear to “collapse”.
Don’t breed a beardie until she is atleast 2 years old. Any time before that, and her bones might not be devoloped well enough to be able to produce & lay the eggs. Infact, sometimes the eggs will be reabsorbed into her body if she is lacking the proper vitamins and minerals in her bones.
Hope this helped!

Question by manowar_6: How long does it take for a new young water dragon to get use to your tank?
I got a new water dragon and it is young and i was wondering how long does it take for it to get use to my tank?
Best answer:
Answer by Expert Advice
Anywhere from 3 days to a week. It really depends on the environment around the room, if it is kept at a constant or not. Good luck and congrats on your new water dragon!

Question by shorty_mary: How long does it take for a baby bearded dragon to settle into a new enviornment?
I just got a baby bearded dragon from the pet store today and it is slightly opening it’s mouth while basking and not really interested in eating or drinking. But I also don’t know when he last ate or drank anything. It is my first beardie and I have a lot of questions.

Answer by Bevad
I don’t know much about bearded dragons, but from experience with other reptiles, you need to leave them to settle in. This can vary and some may be really quick and love the new environment, while others take a while. If the food is available in the tank then he will eat when he is good and ready. He may just be a little nervous at the new surroundings and if he was in a smaller tank in the pet shop and with other beardies then he is probably wondering where everyone is and why he can’t see any others and is wondering what the big open space is.
I would start to worry if his colour changes or he drops in weight. Even if you don’t know the last time he ate, he will eat when he is hungry and accustomed to his new tank. It can be hard with a new animal to not check on them and see how they’re doing, but try not to keep going up to the glass if you do a lot and leave him to do his own thing, even if that’s nothing

Question by Matt OF O’Reilly: How long does it take for a chinese water dragon tail to grow back?
I bought a water dragon and he seems pretty healthy, but his tail was missing when I got him. How long does it usually take to grow back?
Best answer:
Answer by Bonsylar
Months, if not years.
Depends on the environment and diet. Do lots of research on the little guys and follow all the requirements.
In the future, pass on reptiles missing tails, toes, scales, or anything else. It means they were roughly treated and stressed out. Not healthy.

Question by Megan: How long does it take for a bearded dragon to reach its adult size?
I am planning on keeping a pet bearded dragon, and I’m considering buying a smaller 20-30 gallon home for the juvenile, and will upgrade to a larger tank when the animal is older.
If I bought a juvenile, how long should I keep it in smaller tank before I decide to upgrade?
Best answer:
Answer by lena
I started out the same way too. In a couple months I absolutely had to put my beardie in to a larger tank. Change tanks as soon as possible because it cant really hurt to have a large tank, it makes more room to move around and it can hurt for them to not be able to move around.

Question by Natasha S: How long can my baby bearded dragon stay in a 20 gallon enclosure?
I just got a 20 gallon enclosure for my baby bearded dragon, and I just wanted to know how long I can keep it there. I heard it was 4-6 months, but I don’t know.
Best answer:
Answer by lovelikewinter00
20 gallon is good enough for a few months..but really, you might as well just spend the money and get a bigger one. They grow to be about a foot long, so he will need a lot bigger tank than 20 gallons.
Also…make sure you pay really good attention to this animal.
I had one and he died from calcium deficiency…
I don’t want that to happen to you because they are so cute when they get bigger.
If you have any questions regarding the care of the animal and my mistakes…feel free to message me.

Depending on the temp in your home it can live up to 2 months but that is not recommended. They are dessert animals and need heat.

Question by Zarango: How long does it take for a bearded dragon to shed?
My bearded dragon is shedding for the first time since I’ve had her and she’s been at it for like a week now. How long does it typically take for a bearded dragon to shed completely (she’s 4 years old if that makes a difference). Also, she has one toe that is refusing to shed. I’ve been soaking her but it doesn’t seem to want to start shedding (all that happens is that she poops in the water). Is there a way to induce shedding or will it eventually go on its own?
Best answer:
Answer by KimbeeJ
A complete shed can take a week. Keep soaking her daily in warm water, and you can use a Q-tip to gently roll loose shed off her toes while wet.
