Question by amyo101: What is the best substrate for a bearded dragon with eggs?

I recently adopted a bearded dragon and today she layed andegg right on the living room floor! She has been exhibiting some digging behavior and I think she has more eggs in her because sometimes her underside looks lumpy. What can I set up for her to dig in and lay eggs if she needs too?

Moist Sphagnum Moss in a hide should provide your Dragon with a perfect place to lay her eggs as the hide gives her the feeling of safety and the Sphagnum Moss gives her a suitable place to dig and lay her eggs.
Make sure your Dragon is getting a decent supply of calcium right now as egg laying can be very physically draining for her and she’s going to need all the care she can get.

Question by Chris: What was the old cartoon show / movie about merlin with dragon eggs under the castle?

I remember specifically images of the dragon eggs underneath the castle with possibly some lava. I also remember that once they hatch, one dragon is red and one is white and they fight. I don’t really remember merlin in it, but after some research I know that this is a merlin story. Thanks for any possible help.

I’m guessing it was an episode of “The Boy Merlin”, and it is a Merlin story and the story of how Wales (my native land) got its flag.
