Question by Jen-Jen: Dragons????

One answerer on a question I asked said ‘dragons are the devil’…do you believe that? Why or why not?
I told her off (I was being b/witchy that day) but still crossed my mind to ask this question. I’m getting the Chinese symbol (s) of ‘fire dragon’ as a tattoo for my birthday….

the Dragon and the Devil coriation comes from the tale of St George vanquishing the dragon. Its an aligory for banishing paganism, just like St Peter driving all the snakes from Ireland is one as well.

Komodo dragons (i.e., the monitor lizard) can be found in Indonesia and Indonesia, the island of Rinca and on islands of the Lesser Sunda archipelago.

Other than that, dragons are the stuff of fairytales.

Question by Rachel, Mermaid: Dragons???

Ok. so I know a lot about dragons, but I could use a little more knowledge. Where did dragons live? did their location have anything to do with their appearance? Did some dragons have feathers or fur? And could dragons be real?
About dragons being real… Why I ask is that so many ancient cultures believed in dragons. Some of those cultures never had contact with each other. Like the South/Central American Myans, Aztecs, and Incans had no contact with the Europeans and Asian who also believed in dragons.
No Dinosaur answers. PLEASE!!!
Look, I know you like to use the dinosaur thing. BUT FOR ONCE IN YOUR PATHETIC LITTLE LIVES, JUST FORGET ABOUT THE SCIENTIFIC ANSWER, SCIENCE CAN’T EXPLAIN EVERYTHING! GOT IT!

You got your questions out of order. If you dont think Dragons are/were real, then the remainder of your questions are moot.

Visit our website to discover more, http Lyrics… This morning I was climbing woods Like I heard, my mamma said I never should But I knew I’d rather fail and fall Then never have tried at all And now there’s a Dragon in my room Heating up, like forty at noon My hair must have caught it in when I fell Caught up in pain I couldn’t tell Now I’m falling with fever Don’t get to close to my bed Cause I’m burning baby I’m hearing things in my head It’s beating me up from inside I need more to save me Give me a place I can hide He’s not leaving Is he ever going to let me go? I believe no-one ever seems to know Why I shiver when I open up my eyes Do they all think I am full of lies? So tell me what’s come over me If my view is not what I see Fire on water is red and blue It all just reminds me of you I am falling with fever Don’t get to close to my bed Cause I’m burning baby I’m hearing things in my head It’s beating me up from inside I need more to save me Give me a place I can hide Don’t get to close to my bed Cause I’m burning baby I’m hearing things in my head It’s beating me up from inside I need more to save me Give me a place I can hide I lost my love, I wanna

What should a new Dungeons and Dragons player buy?

Saturday, September 18th, 2010

Question by Tori: What should a new Dungeons and Dragons player buy?

I’m really interested in tabletop roleplaying games, and I’d love to try Dungeons and Dragons. But there are so many rule books and “flavor” books and different editions of each that it’s hard to know what to get (not to mention they’re quite expensive). So what should a completely new player buy to get started? What’s necessary to play the game?

Best answer:

Answer by izme1000
Every D&D player needs a set of dice, a miniature to represent your character on the map, and access to a player’s handbook (also known as PHB). Everything else is optional. In fact, having your own dice is also optional if someone doesn’t mind sharing theirs.

What do you think? Answer below!
